Project Personal Freedom
Tuesday April 18th 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Project Personal Freedom is a daily guidebook that includes inspirational and instructional tips on how to access your own freedom. Kingsley wrote this book as a result of the work she has done with hundreds of clients over the past 17 years. She looks forward to reading from her book, discussing the concepts behind her work, and answering questions.

Sumptuous fabrics, vibrant colors and textures, masses of elaborate trims - all are defining elements of fashionable Victorian women's clothing. Nineteenth-century designers had very definite ideas of what constituted beauty, and these concepts had a widespread impact on art and design. Embellishments in Victorian Fashion focuses on how nineteenth-century aesthetics influenced women's clothing design and construction. It features forty-seven garments from five institutions in Maine and New Hampshire.
