Following Story Time with Miss Lois will be a children's science program on bats. Kids will learn about these funny creatures that fly through our night skies. Flap your wings and explore echolocation.

We welcome our very youngest library patrons (pre-walkers) every Friday morning for baby bounces, songs, and stories in the Deering Room, with social and play time afterwards. This program stimulates language development and increases your baby's capacity for learning. Deering Room, Dyer Library

This special program for our active younger patrons who are toddlers and walkers. It includes finger plays, songs, movement and stories with social time for parents and play time for children afterwards. Calling children of all ages who love Legos! Join the after school lego club to create and build. Legos are provided. Children aged 8 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Bring your 3-5-year-old preschooler to the library every Tuesday morning for a reading adventure! This program involves children's literature, songs, and a craft project and is designed to help children develop early social and behavioral skills essential for schooling. Deering Room, Dyer Library

Join us on Wednesdays for after school "lounge", where tweens and teens can be themselves. A safe and fun space for homework, socializing and/or participating in various group activities. Drop in for ten minutes for stay for an hour.

Whether you are a beginner or an advanced watercolor artist, come on over and bring your paints and materials to the Deering Room of the Dyer Libray. Learn new techniques or practice old ones with famed Saco artist Judith Kinsman. These classes are available in four-week sessions, $70 per four-week session with a Dyer Library card or $75 without. A Pokemon League provides a nearby place for you to get together with other fans of the Pokemon Trading Card Game and have some fun. Using your own cards you can play, trade, and even earn cool prizes! The best part is that you can do all this with other Pokemon players who love collecting and playing just as much as you do. What's your sign? The first Astrology Group meeting will take place at The Dyer Library this month. Learn the meaning of planets, signs and houses and how they work in a horoscope. All those who are interested in astrology are welcome to attend! The Astrology Group plans to meet on the second Wednesday of each month in the Board Room (back of Deering Room).
