Meeting Room Policies

The Dyer Library offers meeting room space to local and surrounding area businesses, private organizations, civic groups and individual persons. To book a meeting space, email info@dyerlibrarysacomuseum.org or call 207-283-3861.

The use of the rooms for Library and Museum programs takes precedence over any other requests.

Those who use the room are responsible for setting up and taking down tables and chairs.

Trash cans and trash bags are available for use. We ask that room users tie full bag(s) and put them in the back hallway, for disposal by maintenance.

Use of the kitchen is included with use of the meeting rooms.

A projector with an HDMI cable is available for use upon request.

Non-profit organizations may use the room free of charge. For-profit organizations will pay for use, according to the following schedule:

Board Room (accommodates 12 people)
Half day: $50
Full day: $75

Deering Room (accommodates 50 people)
Half day: $100
Full day: $150

Both Rooms
Half day: $125
Full day: $175

All room use must take place during the Library’s open hours. Off-hour room-use requires the library to pay a staff person to come in during the event. If you are interested in having a meeting outside of the Library’s standard operating hours, please contact us for pricing.

Please note: rooms may not be available during some special ongoing Library events, such as the Annual Book Sale.
