Book Sale

Dyer Library hosts an annual summer book sale which relies on donations of books from the community. We accept donations of books in good condition and of current interest that will help us generate revenue from our book sale to help fund library programs and services. Donations can be brought to the front desk during Library hours. If your donation is greater than a single box or bag, please set up a time for us to meet you at the rear of the Library.

Year-Round Book Sale

We have an ongoing book sale in our Lobby! Stop by anytime to peruse our gently used books, media, and puzzles.

Please note: Donations are currently on pause. We will begin gratefully accepting donations again on September 16th.

Donation Guidelines

We Love:

  • Popular Fiction
  • Popular Non Fiction
  • Children’s Books
  • Local History
  • Unusual Collector’s Items

We Cannot Accept:

  • Damaged Books
  • Smelly Books
  • Encyclopedias
  • Medical Books
  • Textbooks
  • VHS tapes

Remember, this is a sale to support the library. If you wouldn’t buy it, please donate it to another venue.
