Passes to Area Attractions
The Dyer Library has partnered with local institutions to provide free and discounted park passes for our library patrons. We strongly recommend calling ahead of your planned trip to reserve your park pass.
The library only has one pass per day for these parks and they do go quickly. You must have a current library account that is in good standing when making a reservation. Thank you!
Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens
105 Botanical Gardens Drive, Boothbay ME 04537
Free admission. Limit two adults, unlimited for those under 18 years old. Specific date and time must be included in your request. Gardens open at 9:00 a.m., and admission continues at half hour intervals. We will order your tickets online and can either email them to you, or print them for you to pick up.

Maine Wildlife Park

Discount passes that admits people at $5.00 per person. Pick them up at the circulation desk and they can be redeemed at any point during the 2024 season. Dates do not need to be reserved ahead of time.
Open May 20 – November 11
Maine State Park Pass
Free admission for one carload of people. This is a card that you check out on your library account for three days. It cannot be renewed. We provide a list that lets you know which parks accept it, and the few that are excluded.

Portland Museum of Art

Free Admission. This pass admits two adults or seniors and all accompanying children and/or grandchildren under 18 years of age. We fill out the pass here at the library and you will present it at the museum entrance ticket counter upon arrival.

Children’s Museum and Theatre of Maine

Discount pass. The pass entitles up to four people to a 50% discount. All groups must include at least one adult and one child. Passes will be accepted at the front desk upon arrival.

One Longfellow Square

Free pass. The Library will have ONE pass for each event on the One Longfellow Square calendar (unless otherwise noted). Each pass is valid for TWO tickets. The pass provided by the Library gives the patron a unique code and instructions on how to redeem tickets with that code through the One Longfellow Square website. One pass per patron per quarter.
