With a Little Help from our Friends

Dyer Library/Saco Museum is a trusted community resource for the citizens of Saco, Maine and the surrounding areas. We see over 125,000 visitors annually at Dyer Library and Saco Museum, drawing even more to our special events. 

Contributions from our business partners go directly toward supporting the mission of DLSM . Some of our biggest organizational goals include expanding digital resources like downloadable ebooks and audiobooks as we transition into lending materials in all kinds of formats. At the same time, funds like these will also support our BookBound delivery program, which delivers books to homebound and vulnerable members of our community. Additionally, sponsors and donors ensure that we can care for our historic building and plan for its future expansion. Municipal funds from the City of Saco make up 77% of our budget and provide funding to the base operations of DLSM. To be nimble, to take risks, to be responsive to our community needs – that’s where support from our community partners comes in.
