Dyer Library/Saco Museum is seeking a friendly and dependable Youth Services Library Assistant. The ideal candidate must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, be technologically savvy and detail-oriented, and be able to function as part of a collaborative and inclusive team. This position will work primarily with youth and families, but must be comfortable with all departments including adults and museum visitors.

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. A high school diploma (or equivalent) and applicable work experience may be substituted. Experience in Sierra library software is highly desirable.

This position is for 15 hours per week, generally on Mondays, Tuesdays, and most Saturdays. The schedule will include 3 Saturdays per month and may include evening hours. Compensation starting range is from $19.48-$20.17 per hour.
