Join Dyer Library/Saco Museum and Thornton Academy in welcoming authors Gary Stevens and Dave Eid to discuss their new book, Stolen Seasons: How Maine Sports Survived the COVID-19 Pandemic.

In a conversation moderated by former WGME 13 news anchor Kim Block, Gary and Dave will discuss their writing process, relive special stories that emerged from their research, and invite the audience to share their own experience with sports during the unprecedented 2020 season.

This event will take place on Thursday, November 21st at 7PM in the Thornton Academy Library.

About the Authors:
Gary Stevens was the Thornton Academy Athletic Director for over 17 years. He now serves as the Interim Athletic Director for St. Joseph’s College.

Dave Eid is the Sports Director for WGME 13, where he has reported since 1996.
